Bonnie Dee Redding Rock Springs - Bonnie Dee Redding, 83, of Rock Springs died Saturday, April 23, 2016 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born June 19, 1932 in Fort Collins, Colorado, the daughter of Forest and Lois Mead Downs. She attended Natrona County High School in Casper, Wyoming. She married Daniel Redding in Indiana on November 25, 1950. He preceded her in death on July 27, 1965. She later married David Allen Maher Sr. He also preceded her in death August 5, 2008. She worked in the restaurant business and owned and operated a restaurant, retiring in 1990. Her interests include spending time with her family, going for car rides, buffaloes, Dallas Cowboys, watching Walker Texas Ranger and the Hallmark Channel, and collecting pigs and angels. Survivors include her son David Allen Maher Jr. of Idaho; her daughters Annette Ellsworth of California, Angie Smith, Shannon Gordan and Vickie Judkins all of Wyoming, and Christina Redding of Utah; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Forrest and Lois Downs, brother Robert Downs, sister Lavanna Downs, husbands Daniel Redding and David Allen Maher Sr. Cremation will take place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Private family services will be held at a later time.
