Heather Michelle Fletcher Rock Springs - Heather Michelle Fletcher, 8, of Rock Springs, died Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born January 27, 2008 in Gillette, Wyoming, the daughter of Gwendolyn Diane Giles and Brian Harley Fletcher. Heather loved to color and won awards at Desert View Elementary School. The last one she was going to enter in the Sweetwater County Fair. Her wish will be done. She also enjoyed school, swimming, and playing with her friends and family. Survivors include her mother Gwen Giles of Rock Springs; father Brian Fletcher of Rock Springs; brothers Logan Smith of Rock Springs, and Brandon Fletcher of Kansas; sisters Sabrina Ray Fletcher of Rock Springs, and Amanda Fletcher of Kansas; grandparents Ronald and Alicia Giles of Rock Springs; great-grandmother Anita Orona of Las Cruces, New Mexico; aunts and uncles Alicia and Norval Plumb of Pensacola, Florida, Tammy and Robert Bucknell, and Ronald Giles II all of Rock Springs, Thomas Ray and Cindy Fletcher of Blue Springs, MO, Arthur Fletcher of Merriam, KS, Debby and Patrick Rick of Kansas City, KS, and Doug and Dan Smith of Rock Springs; cousins Austin Bucknell of Rock Springs, Brianne, Tyler and Lauren Plumb of Pensacola, FL, Stephanie, Eric, Fred, Andy, and Sally Fletcher of Blue Springs, MO, Mindy, Pat, Jason and April Fletcher of Merriam KS, Stacy, John, and Mary Rick of Kansas City. She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather Pablo R. Orona, great-grandparents Henry and Ethel Giles, grandma and grandpa Fletcher, great-aunt Dora Segovia, great-uncle Hebert H. Giles, sister Aimee Fletcher, and cousin Candice Diane Bucknell. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs where a viewing will be held one hour prior to the services. Family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Primary Children's Hospital Foundation, PO Box 58249, Salt Lake City, UT 84158.
