Kim Denise Malo Rock Springs - Kim Denise Malo, 57, of Rock Springs died Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. She has been a Rock Springs resident for 36 years. She was born February 1, 1958 in Aberdeen, Washington, the daughter of William Nelson McKinney and Beverly Susana Ramey McKinney. She attended schools in Aberdeen, Washington and finished her high school education in Rock Springs. She married Lonney D. Griggs June 28, 1974 in Aberdeen, Washington. They were later divorced. She married Kenneth Malo June 7, 2007. He preceded her in death on October 7, 2013. She had been employed as a bus aide for School District #1 for the last 6 years. She was a longtime member of the First Assembly of God Church in Rock Springs. Her interests were being involved with her church, shopping, visiting her friends at the soup kitchen, and spending time with her friends and family. Survivors include children, Heidi Allen and husband Bryce and Holliena Foley and husband Kevin all of Rock Springs, and Byron Griggs of Rawlins, Wyoming; brothers William McKinney of Colgate, Oklahoma, Richard McKinney of Washington, and Kelly McKinney of Oregon; sisters Dalinn Matlock and husband Tom, Alana Griffiths all of Rock Springs, and Quinn McKinney of Kemmerer, Wyoming; grandchildren, Adam Allen, Chase Allen and wife Brittany, Alysha, Jorden and Shantel Foley; great-grandchildren Harley and Robert Allen; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Scott McKinney. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the First Assembly of God Church, 2191 Century Blvd, Rock Springs. Pastor Troy Heidt will officiate. A viewing will be held 6-8 pm Monday, November 16, 2015 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs and Tuesday one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will take place in the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery, Rock Springs.
