Norman K. Larsen Rock Springs - Norman K. Larsen, 91, of Rock Springs, died July 1, 2016 at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City after a short illness. He was born August 18, 1924 in Mills, Nebraska, the son of Carl W. Larsen and Dorothy Haman Larsen. He attended schools in Rawlins and graduated from Rawlins High School with the class of 1943. He also attended Boise Jr. College, Bosie, Idaho. He served in the US Navy during WWII being discharged in 1946. He married Edna Marie Carlson September 6, 1955 in Randall, MN. He worked at AT&T for 39 years, retiring in 1985. He was a life member of the VFW 1796 in Black Canyon City, AZ, the American Legion Archie Hay Post 24 in Rock Springs, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was the founding member of the White Mountain Presbyterian Church in Rock Springs. His interests were going to their cabin in Bondurant, WY, woodworking, rock hounding, and spending time with his family and dog “ Chomper”. He was a scout master for Troup 4 in Rock Springs in the 70's. Survivors include his wife Edna Larsen of Rock Springs; sons Keith Larsen, Craig Larsen and wife Charlene all of Rock Springs; 1 niece and 4 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Dorothy Larsen, and two sisters Dorothy Tierney and Lila Edwards. Cremation will taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. August 20, 2016 at the Bondurant Church on Hwy 191. There will be a luncheon following the service. Condolences for family can be left at www.foxfh.com.
