Sadden to hear about the loss of Steve. I enjoyed joking with him and our discussions about the daily life of the college. We will miss hearing his laugh echoing down the hallways. RIP Steve

So sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I will miss his expertise on football and his razzing about the Vikings. He was the kinds most gentle soul I knew. I never knew him to not be upbeat and making jokes as he went about his day. I was lucky to know Steve and think of him as a friend. RIP.

For the past several years Steve was the first person I saw in the morning when arriving to work. He would say hello and then immediately find something to tease me about; he always had a great sense of humor. Steve also had a big heart and was very thoughtful. He continually asked about my family and was genuinely concerned if my boys got sick or hurt. If ever someone needed help, Steve was never too busy to lend a hand. RIP Steve, you will be missed.

The hallways of WWCC will be a less joyful place with Steve's absence. His positive energy, easy-going style, and infectious laughter will long be remembered. He worked hard to keep this superb facility clean and well-maintained. He was competent on the job and dedicated to the college. To his closest friends and to his family members, may the road only grow smoother ahead, and may your loss eventually be tempered by good memories. R.I.P., Steve. --Sincerely, Chris Kennedy and Susan Bates
