Aileen Alice Le Moine

Aileen Alice LeMoine Rock Springs- Aileen Alice LeMoine, 94, of Rock Springs died Thursday, September 10, 2015 at her home. She was born September 10, 1921 in Haxtun, Colorado, the daughter of Florace “Alec” Ellsworth Williams and Effie Viola VanCleve Williams. She attended schools in Sioux City, Iowa and graduated from Central High School with the class of 1940. She married Robert Lyle LeMoine on June 2, 1940 in Los Angeles, California. Their marriage was later solemnized on April 16, 1968 in the Oakland LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on July 27, 2013. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many callings. Her interests were her family, animals including her two cats, gardening, bird watching, having family dinners, and dancing. Survivors include her daughter Linda Brough and husband Thomas Anderson of Rock Springs; sister Betty Pulley of Mooreland, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Rebekah Rice and husband Eric of Layton, Utah, Lauren Hamm and husband Riley of Rock Springs, Jared Brough and wife Krysten of Rock Springs, Brandy Malcuit and husband Ervin, and Bobby LeMoine all of Wasilla, Alaska; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Florace “Alec” and Effie Williams, husband Robert LeMoine, son Bobby LeMoine, son-in-law R. Michael Brough, sister Geneva LaBahn, brothers Floyd, Harold, and Alvs Williams. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Foothill LDS Ward, 3315 White Mountain Blvd., Rock Springs where a viewing will take place one hour prior to the services. Bishop Josh Sorensen will officiate. Burial will take place at the Utah Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bluffdale, Utah.
