Alan J. Reifel Rock Springs - Alan J. Reifel, Beloved, 66, of Rock Springs died July 8, 2015 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born February 15, 1949 in Southbend, Indiana, the son of Joseph Reifel and Doris Jean Troubaugh Reifel. He graduated from Bishop Dwenger High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana and received his degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. He retired from Sweetwater County School District #1 in 2011 after teaching 6th grade for 32 years. His interests were playing Bridge and league Pool, hunting and fishing. He served in the Army National Guard during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife Nola Reifel; children Beth and Diego Bow, AnnMarie and Wesley Wright, Trent Reifel, Jay and Jennifer Tabor, Shane Tabor and Joshua Tabor; grandchildren Brice Pinson, Alexis Pinson, Sean Pinson, Walter “Big” Pinson, Aalayna Bow, Nadyah Bow, Deigo “Jr.” Bow, Alliana Bow, Dominic Tabor, Nola Tabor, Xzavier Tabor, Zachery Tabor; parents Joe and Doris Reifel; sisters Rene Reifel and Barb Moeller; brother Jim Reifel; nephew Christopher Moeller. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the Old American Legion Building, 536 Broadway, Rock Springs.
