Deer Lodge, MT - Barbara Cole, 73, died Friday, May 28, 2004 at the Powell County Hospital in Deer Lodge, Montana after a lengthy illness. She had been a longtime resident of Rock Springs prior to moving to Deer Lodge four years ago. She was born September 10, 1930 in Wataskewan, Alberta Canada, the daughter of Andrew and Margaret Sykes Parnell Printup. She was a member of the Business & Professional Women’s Association in Wyoming and Seattle, WA. She had been employed as a realtor, television news marketing agent, and mineral prospector. Her interests were gold mining and prospecting, the outdoors, gardening, and being involved as a political activist. Survivors include one son, Bradly Gene Gagner of Missoula, Montana; four daughters, Marcy Gagner of South Tacoma, Washington, Georgia Renee Chandler of Kent, Washington, Stacy Werkele and husband Tom of Torrington, WY, and Hilary Robinson and husband John of Laramie, WY; 16 grandchildren, 2 great granchildren.
