Christopher "Chris" André Randles Rock Springs - Christopher "Chris" André Randles, also known as “The Gentleman Cowboy” by his closest friends, 38, died Thursday, March 10th, 2016 at his home. Chris was born in El Paso, Texas February 6, 1978, the son of Ralph “Randy” Randles Jr. and Shawna (Gale) Randles. He attended schools in Green River and Rock Springs and graduated from Rock Springs High School in 1997. While in school he played the clarinet and was a member of the track team and Drama Club. Chris was a member of the Order of DeMolay. He also participated in college theatre productions with his father while in high school and during his attendance at WWCC. He served in the U.S. Army and received an honorable discharge. Chris was employed with Albertsons, Walmart, Schlumburger, and Schwanns since his discharge from the military. More recently, Chris has been employed as a security guard at Jim Bridger Power Plant for the last 7 years. Chris enjoyed fishing, camping, wood working, karaoke, playing games with his family late into the night, shooting pool, taking care of his dog, Eva, and spending time with his three nieces and his nephew. He was a collector of wolf and eagle figurines, pictures, and other art. Chris also enjoyed helping his family and friends with projects and giving his time when asked, while he lovingly picked on those he loved. Survivors include his parents Ralph and Shawna Randles, sister Rachael McDonald and husband Quincy McDonald, sister Rebecca Brady and husband Lance Brady all of Rock Springs, grandmother Beverly Randles, his aunt Robbie de Leur and husband Carl Brown, uncle Raymond de Leur all of Green River, his step-grandmother Avata Gale of Arizona, his uncles and aunts Stephen and Madilene Gale, Don and Joyce Gale, Del and Jan Gale all of Utah, nieces and nephew Chaylynn McDonald, Shelby McDonald, Jonathan McDonald, and Anycka Brady all of Rock Springs. Adopted family include Clyde and Sharon McCaslin, Carolyn and Casey Darlington, and Jackie and David Harrison. Chris is also survived by numerous great uncles, aunts, and cousins. Chris is proceeded in death by his great grandmothers Irene “Grannie” Randles, Hazel “Mama Hugh” Ferguson, Irene Gale, and Vera Henderson, grandfathers Arvene Gale and Ralph Randles, grandmother Miriam Gale, uncles and aunts Loren Gale, Rebecca and John Randles, and cousin John de Leur. Cremation will take place per his wishes by Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Family and friends are welcome to join in a small get together from 5 to 8 pm on Friday, March 18th at the home of his sister Rebecca, 504 E Street in Rock Springs. Refreshments will be provided. Chris’ memorial service will be at 3 pm., March 19th, 2016 at Restoration Ministries, 518 Elk St. in Rock Springs. Refreshments will follow. Flowers can be sent to Restoration Ministries prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would request money to be donated to a charity for Diabetes research.
