Dan A Andrew

Dan “A” Andrew, 82, passed away June 8, 2022 at the George E. Wahlen Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a resident of Rock Springs, WY and a former resident of Cheyenne, WY.

He was born on January 7, 1940 in Holyoke, CO, the son of Billy A. Andrew and Vivian Ehrlich.

Dan attended schools in Cheyenne and graduated in 1958.

He was a Navy veteran serving in the Vietnam War.

Dan married Phyllis A. Brown in Pinedale, WY in 1963, she preceded him in death on February 3, 2010.

He worked as an electrician for FMC for 43 years until his retirement in 2003.

Dan enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, camping, rock hunting, traveling, and above all else, spending time with his family.

He was a member of the American Legion, Disabled Veterans Association, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Survivors include sons Robert Andrew and wife Rhonda, Dwayne Andrew and wife Suzanne; daughter Carla Andrew Crawford and husband Bryan; sister Barbara Besso and husband Marty; grandchildren Michael and wife Brittney, Stephanie, Dwayne Jr. wife Chelsey, Amanda and husband Cody, Amber and husband Travis, Linda, Justin, Tylawn and husband Eddie, Tawnya and husband Matt, Donnie Jr and wife Ramona; 17 great grandchildren; niece Margie and husband Kieth Allen; and nephew Jerry.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Phyllis A. Andrew, and father and mother Billy and Vivian.

Funeral services with military honors will be conducted at 5:00 pm, Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs, Wyoming 82901.
