She worked in the office for Dell White at Dell's Market in Green River for many years. Darlene was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions throughout her life. She loved music and had a wonderful singing voice. She always enjoyed singing with the choir at church. A few of her other interests included traveling, camping with her family, reading, gardening, walking and spending as much time as she could with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her four daughters; Sheri Rushing of Herriman, Utah, Sandy Gilmore (Art) of West Haven, Utah, Susan Castillon (Hector) of Green River, Laura Owens (Stan) of Green River; two sons, Larry Shepard (Terri) of Green River, David Shepard (Traci) of Far West, Utah; one sister-in-law Evelyn Warby of Ogden Utah; 25 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren. So sorry to read of the passing of Darlene. Our Anderson family grew up with the Warby's.. I learned to love her as we worked together in the Relief Society Presidency....She was always so sweet and loving looking on the bright side of things.. I have deep feelings for the family, especially of when Ron died and we had a special fast and prayers for them in Seminary.. My love and sympathy are with all of you at this time. Maisel Baker

I was so very blessed to have gotten to know her as my grandma Shepherd, even though it was later in life then we would have preferred! Im so very sorry and sad that I fell out of touch for so long. I love you Grandma Shepherd.
