Donald Leroy Tomasini
Rock Springs - Donald Leroy Tomasini, 56, of Rock Springs, died March 9, 2016 at his home after a sudden illness.
He was born January 5, 1960 in Rock Springs, the son of William “Bill” Tomasini and Barbara Englert Tomasini. He attended schools in Bridger Valley and Green River. He married Toni Rae Mestas in Tipton, Wyoming in 1978.
They were later divorced.
He had been employed in the oil field and also as a carpenter in Montana for many years.
His interests were woodworking, building jewelry boxes, photography, visiting Red Lodge Montana and being in the outdoors, collecting musical clocks,
and rebuilding a Cadillac with his stepfather.
Survivors include his son Jason Tomasini and wife Tabitha of Rock Springs; stepfather Dennis Jamieson of Bridger Valley; sister Cindy Hemker and husband Wayne of Bridger Valley; stepsister Juanita Gunyan of Rock Springs; stepbrother Pat Loisate; nephews Justin Hemker and wife Sarah of Utah, and Gerald Hemker of Bridger Valley, and several other nieces and nephews; aunts Marlene Tomasini and Kathy Foster and husband George all of Rock Springs; uncle Carl Tomasini and wife Bobbie of Rock Springs; granddaughter Wanda Walker of Rock Springs.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lidio and Velma Tomasini, and William and Gladys Englert, father Bill Tomasini, mother Barbara Jamieson, brothers Ronald and Billy Tomasini, stepbrother Jerry Loisate, and nephew Billy Foster.
Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
