Guestbook

Sody was a major contributor to our morning coffee klatch at the Park Hotel and at Boschetto's when it moved there. He was such a great guy. Always ready to laugh and share a joke. I loved his stories and his generosity. I miss him and all those guys. I think the Soderlund family was greatly blessed by his life and he was a true stalwart of the community. God bless you all, Phil Kellogg

Dear Soderlund family, Just a note to say I remember your father well. I remember him as "Sodie". He was always kind to me when I took care of my aunt & uncle's house (Cheesy & Lucille Smith) in the summer. I also remember him from when I worked for John McCrann, who had his office in the Park Hotel Whenever I saw Sodie, he was smiling and had a kind word for me. I am deeply sorry that he's no longer with you but know he will live forever in your hearts. My deepest condolences. Carol Ransdell Conboy

I been a next door neighbor to Sodie since 1986. He always had a smile and we had such nice visits. We will miss seeing him working in his yard and working on his boat that he loved so much. Rest In Peace, God Bless. Dave and Bernice Shuster

I spent lots of summers and school breaks working at the Park Hotel. Still remember how Sodie liked his eggs. He always had a smile on his face. So very sorry for your loss. Mary Lee Johnson

I'll always remember Sodie's laugh and zest for living. The Lee clan shared many fun times with the Soderlands through the years. He will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathies. Amy Lee McClure

When I was just a little boy I used to go to the Park Hotel and spent hours their. I started working as a busboy. Mom and my sister were waitresses. I always looked up to him as a very wise man. My heart is heavy, he is going to be missed by all of my family. RIP Sody Tom and Jolean Domson

One of my favorite people. He will be missed. I always enjoyed conversations of the past and what a life he lived. In the summer we would sit on his patio and shoot the breeze about gardening and why we loved it. His family was his life. He gets to be with Connie, Nancy, and his name sake Edwin. And I'm sure he's playing golf , skiing, hunting, and having a cocktail in heaven. And him and Frank Sinatra are singing Nancy.
