I'm so sorry for your loss. The bible calls death an enemy of ours. 1 Corinthians 15:26 says-The last enemy, death, will be brought to nothing. God also promise at Revelation 21:4-Pain, sickness, and death will be no more. The hope is held out to you that you can see Eldon again right here on earth under perfect conditions for Acts 24:15 says-There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. All that Almighty God has said is as good as done because Titus 1:2 says-God cannot lie. I hope this bring consolation to your mind and heart.
