Ernie was my dearest cousin and friend. We were only months apart and shared everything to include cribs and strollers. Along with Tom and Frank, our brothers, life to us in the fifties and sixties was filled with family and sports. They were the most wonderful of days. There is always so much pain in the loss of a loved one you often feel it'll never end; but greater than the pain of their death, is the joy we experience in their life. Ernie knew God; and Praise God, because he knew Christ here, Ernie now resides joyfully peaceful with Him in Heaven. Ernie has again, even in death shown us about life. Till we meet anew, Ernie. R.I.P., my dear cousin.

Thank you my dear friend. When ever I would visit Ernie he always asked me, how is Steph, Jeff and JJ, but he always told me that he never got to meet your other son Dusty, and he wanted to so badly! Thank you for the beautiful memories of our Dear Brother Ernie. Love you, Karin and Tommy

Ernie, I so remember you and Tommy with the twins, always watching baseball with your Dad, rocking to the beatles and being the apple of your mothers eye. We celebrate you now back in the arms of your mom and dad and mourn the loss of your presence on earth. Keep your arms around Karin and Tommy during this tough time and know all our Lynbrook memories were the best. Rest In Peace sweet Ernie. Xoxoxox

Its been many years since Ive seen Ernie but I can still hear his voice in my mind. We all grew up together but went our separate ways and lived different lives as we got older. I think we learn things from everyone in our family. Ernie taught us to make the most out of a simple life, to travel when you get the chance to and to always be kind even when life isnt perfect. We were lucky to have him as part of our family. I dont know if I ever would have seen him again but I am so sad that he is no longer here. May he soar with the angels and have a wonderful family reunion in Heaven. Sending love to Karin and Tommy and the kids.
