May 5, 1941-May 28, 2022 

Frances E. Coburn was born in a tiny town in Alabama on May 5, 1941 to Jack and Mildred Rainone. In her childhood and early adulthood, she lived in Alabama, Rhode Island, and Louisiana. In 1970, she moved to Fremont County where she is best known for her role as Social Services Director at The Manor, where she won many victories for the elderly of Wyoming. 

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, and her husband, Darwin Coburn. She is survived by two sons, David Tannehill and Chantry Casey; three sons-in-law, James, Cliff, and Jay Coburn; many beloved grandchildren; several great grandchildren; as well as a long list of lost boys that she sheltered, protected, scolded, and guided over the years. 

In respect for her wishes, she will be cremated and no funeral or services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Frankie, your love and your guidance will be missed. Your family and your lost boys will remember you and love you always.
