George W. Repp

Green River – George W. Repp, 69, of Green River died Saturday January 10, 2004 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, Rock Springs after a sudden illness. George was born May 8, 1934 in Hunnington, Texas, the son of William J. Repp and Bonnie Irene Schritchfield. He attended schools in Brazorport, Texas and graduated with the class of 1952 from Brazorport High School . On September 20, 1975 he married Tammy Taylor in Rawlins. He was employed at FMC for ten years until his retirement in 2000. He previously was a service field representative for various companies. His interest included being a good father, husband, friend, and above all being a gentleman. He also was a pilot and enjoyed flying. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. Survivors include his wife Tammy of Green River; two sons, Steve Repp and wife Sandy of Connersville, Indiana, and Andrew Repp of Green River; two daughters, Candy Childs and husband Rick of Ft. Collins, Colorado, and Wendy Copley and husband Brayden of Denver, Colorado; three sisters, Jean Giese and husband Leon of Clute, Texas, Betty Keith and husband Earl also of Clute, Texas, and Linda Rooks and husband Gary of Surfside, Texas; seven grandchildren and two great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Robert Repp. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday January 14, 2004 at the Green River LDS Stake Center, 120 Shoshone, Green River where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Bishop Mark Roberts officiating. Cremation will follow at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs.
