Condolences to the Bennett family. Dick played many softballs games with Jay when we lived in Wyoming... Rest In Peace Jay. Dick and Kathy Sadler

I too worked with Jay for several years as a co-worker and also as Jay's supervisor for some time. I can tell you that Jay was a very competitive person not only in sports but also in the work place. Jay was one that would never say no when asked to go above and beyond what was expected. When Jay and my team would play against each other in softball I would just hate it when they beat us because Jay felt like he was my boss when he came to work the next day, but if my team won then Jay would know he would not have to worry about any tough jobs for the day or the boss showing up on the job site.... Jay would give the shirt off his back for anyone and Jay was a kind and gentle giant. Jay keep in shape so when I get there we can play another game. You will be sadly missed by your family and friends. Tim Omland
