Kenneth C. McClure Rock Springs - Kenneth C. McClure, 67, of Rock Springs, passed away peacefully Sunday August 7, 2016 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County surrounded by family and friends. He was born June 11, 1949 in Columbus, Montana, the son of Oscar B. McClure and Wanda R. Courtner McClure. He attended schools in Worland, WY, and graduated from Worland High School with the class of 1967. Kenneth served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He married Donna Washut June 2, 1979 in Midwest, WY. He was employed with Baker Hughes as a safety trainer for 34 years until his retirement in 2013. He was a member of the Elks in Worland. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, horseshoes, bowling and family time. Survivors include his wife Donna McClure of Rock Springs; brother-in-law Ken Washut and wife Dottie of Casper; sisters Marilyn Lane and husband Chad Jones of Worland, Shirlene Jones and husband Bruce of Texas, and Ladonna LaCroix and husband Matt of Worland; sister-in-law Vicki Washut of Cheyenne; nieces and nephews Clint Lane, Travis Washut, Paul Jones, Adam LaCroix, Jacob Jones, CJ Washut, Tressa Cassetty, Heidi Rutledge, Amy Washut, Vanessa Wong, and Amanda Debernardi; and extended family Bill and Jackie Shuster. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Wanda McClure, both maternal and paternal grandparents, brother Marshal McClure and niece Tammy Washut. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 633 Bridger Ave., Rock Springs. Father Glenn Szczechowski will officiate. Military graveside services and inurnment will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 25, 2016 in the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery, 80 Veterans Rd., Evansville, WY.
