Joseph Michael “Mike” Christian Rock Springs - Joseph Michael “Mike” Christian, 60, of Rock Springs died December 14, 2007 at his home after a sudden illness. He was born December 8, 1947 in Rock Springs, the son of Alvin Eugene Christian Sr. and Josephine Lucille Hutchinson. Mike attended schools in Rock Springs and was a lifelong resident. His interests include riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles, having BBQ’s with his friends, feeding the birds every morning, spending time with his grand-niece Justise, and his very special friends Pat and Elliot Kish, Mike Gatti, Larry Coet, Ben Taucher, Jonathan Kelsey, among others who touched his life deeply. Survivors include a brother, Alan E. Christian and wife Margie of Harmons, Maryland; twin sister, Mary A. Little and husband James of Rock Springs; niece, Darla K. Kelsey and companion Jay of Rock Springs; grand-niece, Justise Jewel-Ann Kelsey and companion Ricky of Rock Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. A private celebration of Mike’s life with friends and family will be held.
