Michael “Mickey” Ben Cox Rock Springs - Michael “Mickey” Ben Cox, 63 of Rock Springs died unexpectedly at his home Friday July 17, 2015. He was born March 5,1952 in Rock Springs, the son of Eugene Cox and Mary Ellen White-Larson Cox. He attended schools in Rock Springs and graduated from the Rock Springs High School with the class of 1970. He worked as a journeyman electrician retiring April 2013. He was a member of the Son’s Of The American Legion. He was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His interests were cooking and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include his parents Eugene and Mary Ellen Cox of Rock Springs; sons B.J. Cox and wife Beverly, Dillon Cox and wife Amy, all of Rock Springs; brother Bobby Cox of Rock Springs; grandchildren Calie, Lindsey , Daylin, Ian, AJ and wife Chloe Mueller; great-grandchildren Dawson and Macy Mueller. He was preceded in death by his brother Mark Cox. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Old American Legion Building, 536 Broadway, Rock Springs.

We were very sorry to hear of Mickey's passing. we always enjoyed his company and the food he always shared with us. He was an excellent cook and wonderful friend. He was always there to help us if we needed anything, and he was always a good friend of our brother Rich Hiner. He will be missed by many.
